Full Time Employment Agreement – Wage – Award Employee

This agreement is suitable for full-time employees who perform work covered by a Modern Award and are paid a wage. This agreement is not intended to apply to part time, fixed term, casual employees or independent contractors.

Full-time employees work on average 38 hours each week and are permanent employees. They receive a rate of pay commonly affixed to a period of time such as per hour, or per day. The base rate is equal to or greater than the National Minimum Wage and the employee’s applicable Modern Award. Employees will usually be entitled to overtime pay, penalty rates and casual loadings. Full time Award employees perform work that is covered by an industry or occupation-based Award. Awards define the minimum terms of employment in an industry or occupation such as wages, penalty rates, leave entitlements, working conditions and other aspects of the employment relationship.
