Part Time Employment Agreement – Salary – Award Free Employee

This agreement is suitable for part-time employees who do not perform work covered by a Modern Award and are paid a salary. This agreement is not intended to apply to full time, fixed term, casual employees or independent contractors.

Part-time employees work on average less than 38 hours per week. They work regular hours each week and are permanent employees. They receive a fixed regular payment and will not usually receive additional remuneration benefits such as overtime pay or penalty rates. A part time Award free employee is an employee who is not subject to the minimum conditions of employment of a modern award or an enterprise agreement.
