How can I pay?

We make payment easy for small business. You can either pay via PayPal or a credit card of your choice.

How quickly will I receive my template?

Once payment is made and you have completed checkout, your purchase will be sent to your inbox immediately.

What will I receive?

You will recieve your employment agreement template (or templates if purchasing more than one) in an editable Word document. You will also recieve a free Cover Letter to accompany your employment agreement template.  For your convenience,  an up to date Super Choice form, Tax Declaration form and a Fair Work Information Statement are available for free on our website under “free downloads”. Policies are recieved in editable Word format also. 

 

Can I purchase just one template?

We are all about flexibility and affordability with our templates for small business. You can purchase just one template, or as many as you wish to.

 

Can you help me choose the employment agreement template I need?

Yes. Please contact our Customer Service Team for assistance prior to your purchase, if required. Note, please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds for mistakes made at the time of purchase. Please refer to our Terms for more information.

My employee is casual. Why should I provide them with an employment agreement?

We recommend that all employees receive an employment agreement which sets out the terms and conditions of their employment, regardless of their employment status.

In March 2021 the Fair Work Act was amended to include a new definition of a casual employee. Under the new definition, a person is a casual employee if they accept a job offer from an employer knowing that there is no firm advance commitment to ongoing work with an agreed pattern of work. There is now a greater emphasis on the initial engagement between employer and employee and therefore a well articulated employment agreement which sets out the arrangement is recommended. 

Employment agreements help protect you and your business in the event of an employment related dispute. We recommend you seek independent legal advice prior to engaging employees.

How do I know whether to choose an Award Covered or Award Free agreement template?

What does Award Covered and Award Free mean?

Modern Awards cover most people who work in Australia. A Modern Award is a document which sets out the minimum terms and conditions of employment on top of the National Employment Standards (NES). They cover both industry or occupations, and provide entitlements such as:

  • Pay
  • Hours of work
  • Rosters
  • Breaks
  • Allowances
  • Penalty rates
  • Overtime

If there is no award that covers the employee’s job, the employee is considered to be award free. This means that rather than an Award stipulating the terms and conditions of employment, the minimum entitlements provided under the National Employment Standards (NES) apply to the employee.

The Fair Work Award Finder Tool on the Fair Work website can assist employers in determining which modern award (if any) applies to their employees. If you are unsure which Award applies to your employee, we recommend getting in touch with Fair Work for clarification.
